About Playa Mujeres Area

Playa Mujeres is a gated community located a few miles north of the famous Cancun hotel zone. This exclusive area is comprised of luxurious all-inclusive hotels, a golf course, a marina, and a few private residences.

The entrance into the area has a 24-hour security gate so only residents, guests of the hotels or golf course, and their employees are allowed access.

Contrary to the high rise and proximity of the hotels in Cancun, the hotels in Playa Mujeres and Costa Mujeres, and tend to be spread out. As a result, you have a more intimate and secluded feel.

Where is Playa Mujeres located on a map?

You’ll find the gated area, just north of Cancun and the Cancun hotel zone, built around the golf course, but also bordered by the beach. It is a peninsula that extends into Costa Mujeres and then ends with Isla Blanca.
