Rustic Fall Wedding at Sparrow Hill Venue

Rich with autumnal vibes and a rustic allure, Katie and Mark’s wedding at Sparrow Hill Venue is sure to make you smile. Wanting to embrace the crisp season, the couple incorporated a color palette of  of navy, blush, burgundy, and gold into the mismatched Azazie bridesmaids dresses, gorgeous floral arrangements from William J’s Emporium, and perfectly placed tabletop decor from Eventionneers. After watching the couple seal their love with a kiss during their outdoor ceremony, friends and family celebrated the duo indoors. There, trendy neon signs and chalkboard calligraphy united, and exposed wood and twinkling lights added to the cozy yet romantic ambiance. Between the charming vibe and the love that shined between Katie and Mark during their portraits with Josh + Jeanette, this one really has every element that makes a wedding as darling as it can be!

About the Couple

Mark and I met via a mutual friend. We went on a few dates and then decided to date other people. A few years later, we went out a few times again but it didn’t work out. I was out with my friends a few years after that and called him to meet us out. He wasn’t really interested after I had ditched him the two previous times but I convinced him to come out with us and the rest is history.

About the Wedding

Our wedding had a rustic, fall look. We knew we wanted to have the men in navy suits and the ladies in blush dresses with burgundy and gold accents. We were really fortunate to have it outdoors and use the natural fall colors for our pictures. Our table settings and head table decor were mainly inspired by Pinterest and other fall ideas we had seen. I think the Pittsburgh cookie table is always unique and we are really thankful our family and friends were able to organize that. I also think our neon sign was beautiful!

Favorite Moment

I think my favorite moment of the day was coming down the aisle and seeing Mark standing there. Also, after all the activities were done, being able to have fun with our family and friends was awesome!
